"Miss Jane Fearnley plays the most interesting part, as the heroine, in this picture. Mr. Chaille plays her father. Her two lovers are her father's secretary (Wallace Reid), and her father's choice for her husband (Mr. Dunn). She prefers the secretary, now discharged, and the development of the situation makes him win her. He has become a life- guardsman at the beach (Brighton Beach), and saves her from the sea.
