"There are some points of excellence in this picture, but there are also a number of weak points which might have been avoided. For instance, at the point where the Mexican enters the cabin where the girl has gone to hide and she lays the revolver on the table while she tries to tie his hands is rather a weak bit. At other points of the picture one is inclined to admire the quality of the work.
