"Surprisingly stylish and engaging story of the wyrde. While it lingers a lot as most flicks from this era are wont to do, overall it does not outstay its welcome and the acting, make up and pretty technically impressive effects make this little story of greed something I was glad to have picked up. The version I found on that site that must not be named used this piano score that makes ample use of quoting Dies Irae and it really works. That gothic silent picture with excessive yet perfect eye-liner that you always dream of seeing...."
