"A synopsis reveals this to be a faithful adaptation of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet". Film historian Anthony Slide reported the only significant difference being, "Rosaline, the girl of whom Romeo is enamored before meeting Juliet, is shown, not merely talked about."
