"I am not surprised that this silent movie has not been commented. I got it from a collector's copy, a rather tepid one, from certainly an Italian vault, something like this. Not from a TCM taping off. Anyway, this feature is already a remake and not the last of the series (remakes). The most known is the 1936 one, directed by Frank Lloyd, starring Claudette Colbert and Ronald Colman, as far as I know. OK, that said, I can already say that it's useless to watch this film - if you find it - for Tod Browning as a director. OK it is a rare, hard to find film from him, but nothing to do h..."
