Although the Educational Film Banner -- under their motto, &quot;The Spice of the Party&quot; -- is best remembered for their fine series of short comedy subjects -- usually under the supervision of Jack White -- they were founded to provide films of a more exalting nature, and this is one of them, a travelogue film, stitched together by some amusing animation. Although there appears to be no particular rhyme nor reason in the choices of where to take us -- they start us out in the American Southwest, shift to Sweden where we view the Crown Prince of Siam and to Niagara Falls by way of Jerusalem, it is an engaging miscellany, if only in its variety. Certainly it is far better than the earnest and stolid efforts put out by James A. Fitzpatrick in the 1930s through 1950s.
