"Adrianne Allen has to decide which of two candidates for the same seat in Parliament to marry, the Conservative or the Labour, both of whom she has known for a long time, and one of whom she lived with. It's directed by Miles Mander from his own stage play, and boy, are the performances stagey! It's also so symbolic in its,characters that they seem mere stick figures.
