Julia mentions sailing to India on the "Gripsholm" if he father is awarded the Nobel Prize. The MS Gripsholm was one of the premier ocean liners of the Swedish American Line and was the first transatlantic liner built that was powered by diesel engines rather than steam. She was in service with Swedish American from 1925 to 1954 when she was sold to North German Lloyd. During WW2 she served as a repatriation ship, sailing under the flag of the Red Cross with a neutral Swedish crew, returning nearly 28,000 German, Japanese, Canadian, British and United States citizens to their home countries. She was scrapped in 1966.
