"Horatio Gillingwater (Hugh Herbert) is hen-pecked by his nagging wife who keeps complaining about the other one that got away. He also gets pushed around at work after getting robbed by Gangster Mugsy O'Bannion at the bank. The only support he gets is his daughter Lois (Patricia Ellis). He gets drunk and everything changes. I was expecting a rom-com from genre list. I did not expect the serious gangsters and gunfire. It feels a little disconnected like two different movies trying to take over.
