"Campus Cinderella (1938) ** (out of 4) Bland short from Warner about a young girl (Penny Singleton) whose father is about to be let go of at her college unless they can get more athletes to enroll. The girl managers to make a basketball star (Johnnie Davis) to fall in love with her but he's having a hard time switching schools because of his jerk father. CAMPUS Cinderella is a pretty boring affair without too much going for it. The story is simple enough but nothing is done with it.
