"Daisy gets away from the dog catcher again, now safe in the Bumstead house. A new neighbor, Tommy Cooper (Bobby Larson) comes by to meet the Bumsteads, including Blondie (Penny Singleton), Alexander (Larry Simms), Cookie (Marjorie Kent) and Dagwood (Arthur Lake). This was the first film in the series that did not use the character of Alvin Fuddle. The child actor who portrayed him, Danny Mummert, was appearing in Frank Capra's It's a Wonderful Life (1946). Mummert would return as Alvin in the next entry in the series, Blondie Knows Best (1946).
