"Nice film noir about penicillin black market in Barcelona after the war. Nicely written, well acted and with an interesting plot. The plot involves well developed characters. We see how the drug arrives to Barcelona docks and is sold to hospitals. But things begin to go wrong when the dealers can not sell the last cargo and they must get rid of it before it expires. Like in the Third man, the illegal drug traffic and its consequences are shown here under a different prisma that involves not only the criminal facts but also their collateral effects.
