"The film features solid performances of several famous German (and Austrian, in the case of Nadja Tiller) actors and actresses. Of course, it is somewhat dated in its plot development and some of the actors deliver their lines theater-like (a problem that can often be seen in German movies). Still, the characters are interesting and even the Third Reich is not being swept under the carpet as so many German films of these days preferred to do.
