"This is a story about a village in Vojvodina (the northern part of Serbia) with two priests. It was adapted from the great novel of Stevan Sremac of the same name. And, just for the record, it is the first Yugoslav movie in color. The main thing about this movie is its humor. I'm afraid that non-Serbian-speaking folks wouldn't be able to appreciate it, because it depends heavily on the language.
