"I have just seen this movie for the first time. This movie is almost half of the century old and tell the story of Chinese-Taiwanese-USSR conflict. A Soviet tanker was attacked by Taiwanes army and the crew was taken into prison. The story goes as Taiwanese government (allied with USA at the time) tries to convince crewman and their captain to sign papers of refusing return to the USSR. The movie is based on a true story. Well may be it is another prapoganda movie made during SOVIET times, but it is still excellent movie. I'm not sure if a people without a communist background can really..."
