What used to be a comedy in 1958.

5/10

"What used to be a comedy in 1958. Having seen this movie now in 2017, I notice it was a chamber play by G.B.Shaw, and it was even nominated for an Oscar. It watched it mainly due to the presence of Liselotte Pulver, a swiss beauty and well known, also able, starlet here at those times. Her comedian acting skills in the movie are decent and likable IMO. But the movie as a whole is quite a stretch, not being very entertaining in long parts, sometimes even dull. I guess it's somewhat hard to be able to appreciate the comedy character out of a 2017 view or expectation...."
