AH, YES, DIE CONNY
"Despite too simple story and so-so directing, a jolly and entertaining Schlager film, due to cast that makes the best of it, but it could have done with one or two Schlagers more (was Papa Froboess out of material?). Trude Herr has a cameo-like, delightful part and brings one of her own very good songs. Of course, as this is a typical Conny & Peter vehicle and thus for fans only, personal taste is of interest here. And I have always loved Conny Froboess (I hate Peter Kraus, but in this film he is not as offensive as in others)...."
