This is a classic story about a poor girl who&apos;s fed up with her bad living conditions and her attempts to break out.

Eva Reck, acted by beautiful young Karin Baal, decides to look for a wealthy man that would marry her and so opens her a life in wealth and luxury. She&apos;s convinced that money will blow away all her sorrows and sadness. She finds her ideal guy in her best friend&apos;s(Carola) father, Werner Ortmann- a rich businessman. Unluckily, he only wants to be her lover- her dreams collapse since she was completely sure he would marry her.

Her search continues- with much heartache and distress.

I liked this movie- although I&apos;m not a fan of classic movies or German movies at all- this one shows that there was a time German movies were worth to watch. All actors were awesome, especially Karin Baal, Rudolf Prack and Rainer Brandt. Although this movie&apos;s title is &quot;The Sinful Girl&quot; or &quot;The Young Sinner&quot; - except a short kissing scene there&apos;s nothing vulgarly included... well of course there wasn&apos;t since this movie was filmed 1960- but if you knew today&apos;s German movies you&apos;ll appreciate it :-)
