"Gorgeous colors and beautiful Italian scenery are not much consolation for a ridiculous story and mediocre performances. Singer turned actor Freddy offers some of his pop songs, while on a fantastic voyage to retrieve some money he foolishly loaned to an obnoxious millionaire (played by Comedic national treasure Heinz Erhardt). The supporting cast includes some popular film/TV stars of the day, but the final product just doesn't rise above formula rom-com fluff.
