💡 Did You Know?
In 2012, a spanish woman named Remedio Olayas Felix claimed, on various websites, that she was the first Marisol and she actually acted in the first two "Marisol" films, not Pepa Flores. She further claimed "An Angel Has Arrived" and "A Ray of Light" were filmed between 1952-1956, not 1960-61. However, there has been no independent corroboration by anyone of this claim nor has conclusive evidence been published. Nonetheless, there it's no need to have corroboration. If that movies were filmed between 1952-56 and not 1960-61, María Mahor (Marisol's Mother) in the first movie, would has been 12 years old, when actually she was a woman in her late teen years or first 20s, and the same case for other young actors, like Carlos Larrañaga or Jaime Blanch.
