"Doubtless influenced by Jacques Tati. This beguiling mood piece follows the arrival of an assortment of sun worshippers - including a group of nuns playing softball - who from time to time gather round to watch Junior building an enormous sand castle. Along the way a couple of close-ups in colour of a piece of Mother of Pearl prepare us for a climactic animated dream sequence in which the characters reappear as cardboard cut-outs and mill about inside the castle. Junior then wakes up. The sea reclaims the castle. The End...."
