"This is a film from the final years of Guru Dutt's life. He acted in this though had no role in direction. The plot kicks off with a rich man entrusting his singular son to his servant whilst he goes for a long stay at a hospital, with no guarantee of survival. This kicks off a series of events involving a titular villain (common in old Hindi films), romance and some good caper comedy.
