"I'm surprised there is no other review of this ambitious 1969-72 show, so I'll add one. This series was an effort by NBC to address many social and political issues that were roiling the nation in the late 1960s. The three stars make it worth watching: I especially like Burl Ives and Joe Campanella. Good guest stars of the period too. A dvd set of the series is available. I usually like lighter fare than the serious subjects here, but I recommend the series to anyone who is a fan of Ives, Campanella or Farentino. You can see a lot of them at a reasonable price for the dvd set...."
