"Broadcast in two parts (Jan. 16 and 17, 1973) on ABC's late night THE WIDE WORLD OF MYSTERY, this Dan Curtis production of "Frankenstein" has been largely forgotten in the wake of the subsequent big budget adaptation "Frankenstein: The True Story," and while neither is as faithful to the Mary Shelley source as they purport to be, the latter does have the edge with a wider scope and presentation.
