"In my opinion "Brødrene på Uglegaarden" is one of the best in the series, although not quite as good as and also more folksy than "De Røde Heste" and "Det Store Løb". "Brødrene på Uglegaarden" has a strong cast, a song which has become a Danish classic and a story not without something to say. The 3 brothers from Uglegaarden have grown up with their stepmother who has done everything for them but without much luck. Should she feel responsible for them or are they now old enough to take responsibility of their own(?)..."
