"Los Indolentes depicts the story of a once rich family of land owners (hacendados) which after being affected by a land reform fall in a downward spiral of self denial, indolence and economical crisis. Saw it once long time ago on TV in Mexico. The film has such power that the images and behavioral psychology of the main characters persist in my memories even today. The images are mystical such as the ones from Pedro Paramo. The screenplay is sharp and deep in the way it depicts human behavior.
