"I'm not a fan of Belgian cinema. I find Belgian films mostly uninteresting, not very creative in the cinematography and editing, and overly reliable on sexual or shocking events. I expected this film to be more of the same, but I was wrong. There's some really pretty shots and montages in this film, which set the tone perfectly and often tell more of the story than the characters themselves. There's also very little nudity and no sexual violence, which considering the erotic nature of the source material definitely is surprising. The acting could have been a little better, espec..."
