"This Hong Kong movie follows the same plot device as the 1953 Hollywood hit Some Like It Hot. As with many Hong Kong comedies, the humor is screwball and slapstick and the plot is almost non existent. Some comedies managed to be entertaining and generate much laughter, but this one generated maybe a chuckle. The plot was slow and hard to follow, the humor was dull and the acting was goofy. The attempt at making the movie similar to Some Like It Hot was a fairly OK effort, but it ended up being rather boring, and its attempt to insert its own comedy brand fell flat.
