"found an unopened copy of this in a garage sale and it was such an unassuming movie that i fell in love with it after first viewing. mainly cause i related to it so much. I'm not lesbian, but i do want equal treatment. this movie addressed that issue without being too heavy. and you cant help but cringe at the development of the storyline, not because its awful, but because the acting was so real. it didn't have popular actors, except for john glover, who was hilarious, i might say. but the mom was really funny too. it also reminded me a bit of revenge of the nerds. be prepared ..."
