Yeah, sure, &quot;Camp Candy&quot;, I definitely remember enjoying this show. Or rather it was the only thing on at that particular hour that didn&apos;t make me want to gouge my eyeballs out. Truth be that in 1990 or so when this was being broadcast on our local Fox affiliate I was in college &amp; was a regular advocate of the use of a certain recreational psychedelic that was notorious for depriving it&apos;s users of sleep -- I could never &quot;crash&quot; immediately afterward, and would usually be up well into the morning of the next day before expiring.

The reason why &quot;Camp Candy&quot; came to my attention is that it aired on Sunday mornings, Saturday being the preferred Magical Mystery Tour evening. I&apos;d usually wander home during the early morning hours to catch local syndicated re-runs &quot;The Dukes of Hazzard&quot; or &quot;Emergency&quot; and just leave the TV on, and after seeing it two or three times by accident came to look forward to &quot;Camp Candy&quot; as a Sunday morning come-down alternative to staring at a blank wall or the ceiling while trying to get some shuteye. As can be expected I remember squat of the shows themselves, but I distinctly recall enjoying John Candy&apos;s voicework and the animation.

I&apos;d glom onto a complete series DVD box set in a heartbeat though, if only for the nostalgic novelty, but I do remember it having a certain appeal that other material of the ages like &quot;The Smurfs&quot; never did, in my eyes. It also wasn&apos;t just a toy commercial, there wasn&apos;t any associated merchandising and the presence of John Candy resulted in some amusing guest spots with people like Andrea Martin and I think Eugene Levey. In any event it would be welcome, I hope that somebody remasters the series for DVD, it would sell.

5/10, which is a neutral rating rather than a reflection of the shows merits -- I simply and understandably don&apos;t remember much, except that I enjoyed it and looked forward to it after a while.
