"I'm a big fan of Fred Williamson, both for his '70s work and his wonderful turn in FROM DUSK TILL DAWN, but he did make some stinkers throughout his career and THE KILL REFLEX is one of his worst - a pity, given that he directed the picture too! I think the lack of budget is what kills this one, which is about Williamson's hard-ass detective on the track of a sniper and a minor conspiracy to boot. Former Bond actress Maud Adams co-stars, while the hulking Bo Svenson is the baddie. Imagine a pitiful version of IN THE LINE OF DUTY and you've got it......"
