"This is the story of a man and his son who each have a single Christmas wish - to be together. In spite of their many obstacles, they never lose sight of their love for one another. Where most people would have given up, they continue in their quest to be a family. The powerful performances of the cast members clearly demonstrated why most of these actors are among the most respected black actors in history. There are aspects of the movie that are unrealistic and predicable. But this isn't a documentary, its a MOVIE. In fact, this movie is probably more realistic than "Its a Wonder..."
