Two criminals want out--but their boss kills those leaving. When the men are ordered to rob the triad, they keep the money and hide from the boss, the Triad, and the police at a convent, dressed as nuns.

Juvenile but harmless fun

Brian and Charlie, couple of London gangsters (Eric Idle and Robbie Coltrane) double-cross their vicious new boss and end up hiding out in a convent disguised as nuns. Idle and Coltrane are good and there are some clever moments, especially when devout Charlie is trying to coach secular Brian in Catholic doctrine, but overall the comedy is broad and predictable and the novelty of seeing the two leads wearing habits wanes quickly. Near-sighted love interest Faith (Camille Coduri) and her thuggish family are amusing. Surprisingly, the story holds together pretty well (considering it&apos;s mostly a set up for drag antics) and the film will likely amuse Monty Python fans who have fond memories of Idle impersonating women. Not great but who&apos;d expect it to be, and the closing gag is worth hanging around for.

Idle and Coltrane play Brian Hope and Charlie McManus, a pair of two-bit hoods who want to go straight, repulsed by the increasing reliance on guns and violence in their line of work.  In thrall to vicious gangster Case Casey (Robert Patterson), the duo determines that their next job will be their last. 
When a large amount of money is extracted from a gang of Hong Kong drug dealers and it falls into the laps of Brian and Charlie, the two take off with the loot, with the Chinese Triads, Casey and the police in relentless pursuit.  
But after their car inevitably runs out of fuel in front of a convent, Brian and Charlie act quickly to disguise themselves as two of the ugliest nuns imaginable. Passing themselves as nuns from a different order awaiting a missionary assignment, the two &apos;men&apos; enjoy their undercover work amongst the youthful co-eds studying at the school. Meanwhile their pursers begin to close in on their trail in this uproarious and farcical comedy.
