I remember Ms. Kirwen saying how she had studied the accents on Coronation Street in preparation for the part - ah but sure, that's not the accent in Cumbria at all, at all. There were one lass in the film, no doubt a local, she only had to say two words - He's upstairs - to recognize the accent. 'Tis one of the hardest English accents to replicate.
