&quot;Krvavy Roman&quot; is based on the book called &quot;A Sanguinary Novel&quot; written by famous Czech painter,typographer,author and philosopher Josef Vachal.He tries to put several stories into his novel.The stories which are delightfully weird and bloody.The use of colors in &quot;Krvavy Roman&quot; is particularly impressive for example we see red,green,brown,mauve and even black &amp; white.The film looks like an outlandish fairy tale with nudity and occasional bursts of gore.The location sets are surreal and look like paintings.The piano/violin score is wonderfully melancholic.The gore is awesome for example we see fingers severed with a knife or multiple decapitations.7 pirates out of 10.An unique viewing experience.
