"This could have been a very good film, but it was poorly done from the beginning. Wil Wheaton, best known as Gordie from Stand By Me (a well played role), and the very annoying Wesley Crusher from Star Trek The Next Generation was not the best selection for the starring role. A decent actor, he is better in supporting roles. Soleil Moon Frye, Televisions Punky Brewster, turns in a solid performance.
