"An Eye For An Eye starts out like a typical heroic bloodshed movie and quickly turns the genre on its head. Triad life is not glamorized here at all and there really are no good guy gangsters . ( at least not in this film). Alan Tam( who usually plays a good guy gangster) brutalized and took advantage of Joey Wang who was put in charge of the triad due to her father's incarceration.
