"The Next Generation crew discover a villain (Malcolm McDowell) who develops a red ribbon (it's called a Nexus), which if you enter it, you can go back in the past and start remembering the times you had before. One thing I didn't like is that the opening has the original crew meet a different crew and doesn't show us how or why.
