"Sprung comes from the same stable as the House Party series and thats not just because of Tisha Campbell. This is one of the few black comedy movies that would easily find a white audience. Because while its obviously a black movie, it isn't so black that its not relatable to a wider audience. Nor is it ghetto or hood in any way. Its just (fairly) regular black folks negotiating the dating scene. Sprung is basically about two couples, one which initially hits it off then doesn't. While the other doesn't at the start and then does. The question is which if any couple will end up..."
