"This flick is really obscure to find. It never had a proper release on DVD or Blu Ray, to be honest, even on VHS it's a tough one to possess. Is it worth the search, honestly it isn't because it's an ultra low budget horror and it shows in the effects. But that I could dig because not all low budgets are that bad. But here there isn't almost no horror. The beginning do offer some creepy moments but the tone is set because before the victim (voluptous blond) got killed she strips before the camera. Director Brett Piper said Bill Links, who made some good money as one of the producers of a movie called Deadtime Stories (1986), wanted him make a movie with "fish monsters and tits." After they wrote the script, Links complained saying they turned it into a comedy. Piper told him, "You ask for a movie about 'fish monsters and tits' and you expected me to take it seriously?" Links wanted a movie more like Humanoids From The Deep (1980), but Piper felt that movie was "altogether too nasty a movie for my tastes."
