"In this entry into one of the two best cartoon series of the 1920s -- I can't decide whether Felix or Koko is more enjoyable -- Felix is looking for a meal, but is outwitted by dachshunds, mice and even an empty pair of pants. Usually the little black cat wins out thanks to his wits, the lack of proportionality and the infinite mutability of the silent cartoon world -- anything can become anything else so long as it's the same color, which is easy in a black-and-white world.
