". . . 5, 10, 15 or even 20 credited lead doodlers. By the time you throw in the in-between staff, the background boys, the layout specialists, checkers, ink and paint people, assistants of all sorts, camera operators and inter-departmental "runners," more than a hundred laborers could be numbered as working on a single cartoon. However, the credits sheet for PUPPET SHOW lists only one single solitary animator--some guy named Manuel. Is this any better than than entrusting all of the eggs in your basket to some man who answers to the name of "Guy"? Or do the live-action pupp..."
