"The first thing you have to note: they pull of the slanted camera angle better than Battlefield Earth. The groovy music that kicks is while it happens is just a bonus. From bad acting, bad writing, bad cinematography, and lines of dialogue a Wookie couldn't understand, add some meadow in the NW USA (maybe) somewhere. You put all of that together and you have Bigfoot and Wildboy. The opening monologue from the announcer tells us that 8 years ago a boy was lost in the wilderness and Bigfoot found him. Wildboy is easily in his mid to late 20's so he was pretty much done with that ph..."

The series was a regular component during the second season of The Krofft Supershow (1976). Each installment was 15-minutes long, with cliffhanger endings resolved the following week. It became its own 30-minute series for twelve weeks in 1979. The sixteen "Supershow" segments were combined into eight episodes for reruns, resulting in a total of twenty full-length episodes.
