"Hector Heathcote swaps his tricorn hat for a coonskin cap in this cartoon. Even so, Daniel Boone won't take him on his survey of Kentucky. Hector trails after, but runs into a ferocious bear. How will this Terrytoon turn that into an unsung bit of history? Released to movie theaters in widescreen format, the copy I looked at was a TV print, and seems complete in itself. It's another pleasantly silly story in the series that ran on TV for several years...."
