You have to hand it to Fred J. Lincoln, a successful survivor from porn&apos;s pioneering days. He went FFC one better by shooting this 4-part XXX video series inspired by THE GODFATHER, but verbosity does not necessarily mean quality.

Cameo is sexually impressive in Part One of the saga in the title role, her perky super-nipples given frequent attention by the camera, and her humping dominating the action. She&apos;s under the care of Joey Silvera, sort of the Tom Hagen figure, who&apos;s like &quot;uncle&quot; but more of a chaperon.

Lincoln has fun in the role of her daddy, the Godfather, his acting actually a highlight. The touted &quot;shot on location in Rome&quot; is overplayed in the video marketing, as the shot-on-video doesn&apos;t look very good, all the action after a second unit MOS set-up takes place in L.A., it should have been shot on film, and the local color is not exploited well.

The terrific Alicyn Sterling has a great sex scene in the final reel, her own famous nipples giving Cameo a run for her money. Storyline doesn&apos;t progress much (to call this a cliff-hanger would be exaggerating -it never makes it half-way to the cliff in Part One), with the main setup being Randy West as another Mafioso to whom Cameo makes quite clear (after having sex with him) that she would love to have Silvera terminated.

Effective in-joke has Marc Wallice playing &quot;Anthony Spinelli&quot;, so named in honor of Adult Cinema&apos;s all-time finest director. As her boyfriend, he has one last tumble in the sack with Cameo before he is killed, and she&apos;s off to L.A. to check on the Don&apos;s crime empire there. Not to fear, Wallice reappears in later episodes playing a total of three roles, and his stage name is sloppily spelled differently each time. Similarly Cameo is billed as both Kameo and Cameo as the videos progress.

My work is cut out - I have to spring for the other 3 volumes to see how the story unfolds. The 1972 THE GODDAUGHTER porn film is far more interesting and quite amusing, but had long faded into obscurity by the time Lincoln took the subject to heart, and remains relatively unknown another 20 years on.
