"Its interesting that this television film came out at the same time the big budget, big screen version of the Hurricane did. It re-created interest in the Hurricane Carter case and the injustice he suffered, but Milgaards is not as well known and that is indeed a shame because the injustice inflicted on him is in many ways worse then the one Carter suffered. Milgaard and his family were finally awarded $20,000,000 in compensation but of course nothing can bring back what was taken from this poor man. Imprisoned between 1969 and 1992. He was only 17 years old when his hell began and 40 when it ..."
