The notice outside the rooms of Edwin (in 4) and Ian (in 3) reads: "Sir Robert Peel Fellowship, All Saints' College, Cambridge. The Governing body implementing the recommendation of the Home Secretary, have granted the Peel Fellowship, jointly, to Mr E G Oldenshaw B A (Hons) Cantab and Dr I Dimmock, for a period of two years." (A fellow Cambridge alumni is series creator Robin Chapman, who graduated from Christ's College after reading English.) All Saints is a fictional college, also mentioned in Kingsley Amis' "The Green Man", Douglas Adams' "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" and "Dreaming of the Bones" by Deborah Crombie.
