This was the second part of a trilogy of 3 prime time soap operas written by the late Lise Payette, helped by her daughter Sylvie. The first one was "La Bonne Aventure" which dealt with women in their 30s, this series was about women in their 40s, and the third, "Un signe de feu", was a crossover of both series. All were quite popular due to fact that all series talked about women's rights for affirmation against a world once ruled by men.
