"A cleverly acted melodrama which tells a clear story and in which suspense is very well maintained. Its center of interest lies between two women; one a prima donna (played by Julia Swayne Gordon), the other a girl of the ballet (played by Miss Neason). The first is jealous of the second because she had been noticed by a young nobleman (Mr. Costello), and she uses the brooch, his gift to her, as a means of getting the ballet girl arrested as a thief.
