"I watched this film when it came out first. Then I watched it many times with the same pleasure. Truly a great film with fine mix of comedy and drama. The actors all have demonstrated great performance but Sener Sen this is probably his magnum opus. Erdal Ozyagcilar is the same. Although it starts like a comedy, this is actually a film about the drama of lost times and the values. This is why, this is a timeless film. And, among with Muhsin Bey, another great movie where Sener Sen also plays the lead character, this is one of the two greatest films of all times in Turkish cinema...."
